The SelectForm® Model 400 Hydraulic Power Pack is designed specifically to meet the power source needs for Airmo end forming tools. The Hydraulic Power Pack Unit (HPU) is equipped with valves and circuitry to reliably operate hand-held and modular end forming tools. The standard Model 400 Hydraulic Power Pack is supplied with an integral oil to air heat exchanger for cooling the hydraulic fluid to provide a continuous duty cycle.
Airmo SelectForm® Hand-held or SelectForm® Modular Tooling produces expansions, reductions, beads, flares, and other shapes on the end of tubes. Either tooling style can be mounted to the top of the hydraulic power pack using optional stand and clamps.
The Model 400 hydraulic tube expansion machine is easy to operate. Simply insert the tube into the tool and actuate the electronically operated foot switch. The system cycles automatically, producing a finished form in 2 to 5 seconds. End forming tools can be quickly changed over using NuQuip® High-Pressure Quick Disconnect Couplers.
The SelectForm® Model 400 Hydraulic Power Pack is manufactured to customer specifications. Systems can be dedicated and highly automated to a single fixed task or designed to handle a variety of applications.
