The ExpanTek® Triplex-Hydro Ball Expansion System is specifically designed for mechanical tube expansion applications. The ball expansion process forces a fluid at high-pressure with a ball through the inside of a tube, resulting in the tube expanding to the desired diameter.

Ball Expansion Tools
The ExpanTek® Model 22 Series Ball Expansion Tool provides versatility for use in mechanical tube expansion applications. The Model 22 Tool is designed to send a high-pressure fluid and a chrome steel ball or bullet down the inside of the tube to expand it.

Hydraulic Power Supplies
for Hydro Expansion
The ExpanTek® Model HPS is a Hydraulic Power Supply used for hydro expansion. The machine prefills a tube with water and pressurizes the tube past its yield point, thereby allowing tooling to expand the tube.

Our ExpanTek® Tube Expansion Tooling is precision-machined to rapidly expand tubing for boiler coils, refrigeration coils, and tubular assemblies. Models come in three tube OD ranges and have working pressures up to 30,000 psi (2,068 bar). Non-lever and lever-actuated models available.
