Safety Protocols Under High Pressure

What does it mean for us to provide unparalleled performance and safety under pressure?

Our Airmo team understands our entire process, from order to delivery and beyond. Because our entire team has the expertise required at any step of the process, we’re able to provide better, faster, and more complete service than other companies, which lack this training for every step.

Our standards for the high-pressure systems, tools and technologies we engineer and design go beyond the manufacturing floor. We have developed safety protocols that allow us to build, test and maintain reliable, functioning high-pressure systems and tools in our customers’ facilities.

Safety Protocols Every Step of the Way

Airmo provides systems and tools that are rated for pressures of up to 60,000 psi, so it’s critical our tools are designed, manufactured, assembled and tested to perform up to their designated, maximum pressure limit.

Our systems and tools are engineered to work a factor of safety into the design if the designated maximum pressure limit is unexpectedly exceeded. If this does occur, contact us for assurance of performance and safety prior to continued use.

All system and tool components are reviewed after manufacturing and prior to assembly by our machinists and assemblers to ensure quality and that engineering print specifications are met. We test all systems and tools before they leave our shop to ensure they meet our customers’ requirements.

Beyond Our Doors: Customer Safety Protocols

Airmo provides detailed parts sheets with all our tools that list out the various components, operating instructions and maintenance recommendations. They also outline the steps for ordering replacement parts.

One of the most important practices our customers can use to maintain a productive and safe shop is to keep systems, tools and metal components greased or lubricated to reduce friction that can cause component wear.

Customers can set up a preventative maintenance plan to help their shop maintain the quality of their high-pressure systems and tools. Airmo systems and tools are designed for longevity. With routine care and component replacement, you will extend the life of your equipment.

Tube and pipe with sharp edges (or burrs) can cut or tear the o-rings that support the high-pressure sealing of the tool which can cause leaks. All sharp edges should be beveled, seams smoothed and burrs removed to avoid this. Additionally, the tube’s end face should be cut so that it is perpendicular to its center axis and re-rounded if any eccentricity exists.

Airmo can also evaluate systems and tools for you after they have been in use – inspecting, cleaning and replacing components as needed before testing and sending them back to you. Airmo offers a one-year parts and service warranty on all systems, tools, and components.

We are here to provide and maintain unparalleled performance and safety under pressure. Please contact us with any questions about their high-pressure tools and technology.
