Are your Airmo high-pressure systems and tools on a preventative maintenance plan?
We encourage our customers to establish a preventative maintenance plan for servicing their systems and advise sending their tools back to Airmo annually at the least. It’s a huge advantage for the customer to do so, especially for the first year within our parts and service warranty, because this is free.
Not under warranty? We still advise sending your systems and tools back to Airmo for inspection and as-needed repair every year. Often, our customers will purchase standard wear parts like seals, O-rings, springs and collets and replace them on their own, which is a standard procedure, but doesn’t always resolve issues. It’s best to send the systems and tools back to Airmo and purchase any necessary parts and services after our expert evaluation, rather than incurring additional expense on parts and labor you might not need.
Routine inspections and replacement of wear parts will ensure your operations continue to run without interruption and can help you save time and money in the long run. Reduce downtime potential and excess expense on parts when you send your systems and tools back to Airmo for us to service.
Airmo Helps Manufacturers Avoid Operational Downtime
It’s important for your operations to run without interruption. Anticipate and be proactive about the maintenance and spare parts that help minimize downtime.
Airmo offers a first-year parts and service warranty for all of our systems and tools.
Our customers can send their systems and tools back to us as often as they’d like for inspection and as-needed repairs or replacement of wear parts at no additional cost for the first year. We encourage our customers to take advantage of this offer.
Our inspection and repair process includes disassembly, evaluation, reassembly and testing to ensure all components are sound and complete systems and tools are operating as designed and safe for use.
It is our goal to have parts on-hand when you need them, so our turnaround time for parts or complete repairs delivered to you can be as quick as next day. If we do need to manufacture specific parts, we still aim to get systems and tools back to our customers as soon as possible.
We advise having secondary systems and tools on-hand for use when your primary ones are undergoing repairs. If you’re purchasing one, it’s wise to have a second ready to go and replacement parts on-hand that you can put into action when you need them most, so your operations can continue to run without interruption.
Have a Plan in Place
Airmo’s systems and tools last for decades if taken care of properly. They have robust internal parts and are designed for high-volume use. Some parts — like seals, O-rings, springs and collets — require replacement more often. Seals and O-rings should be replaced on a regular basis to maintain the overall function. Having seal kits on-hand for in-house replacement, or sending the system or tool back to us, is a good habit to incorporate into your operations.
If a component of a system or tool is becoming worn, it will begin to affect functionality and safety overall. It is important for your systems, tools and parts to be inspected regularly – have them on a preventative maintenance plan to routinely inspect in-house or sent back to Airmo.
