Model 402 Series
Hand-Held
Reduction End Forming Tools
Pressures Up to 3,000 psi (207 bar)
The patented SelectForm® Model 402 Series End Forming Tools when used with the Selectform® Model 400 Hydraulic Power Unit provides a quick and precise means of reducing the ends of tubes made of aluminum, copper, carbon steel, stainless steel, titanium and other materials. Model 402 Series Tools are manufactured to accurately reduction end form tube diameters ranging from 0.19 in. to 1.38 in. OD (4.7 mm to 35.0 mm OD). If larger diameter tube end forming is required, then we recommend having a table mounted end forming system manufactured.
The Model 402 Series Tools are precision-machined from heat-treated stainless steel to prolong tool life and produce accurate forms every time. The tool is easy to use, simply place the tool over the tube end and depress the foot switch on the power source. The tool cycles automatically and produces the finished form in 2 to 5 seconds. The tools are designed to produce an exclusive shape with low surface marring.
The Model 402 Series Tools are dedicated, hand-held devices that can be quickly changed from one size to another. Tools connect to the Model 400 Hydraulic Power Unit with dual hydraulic hoses, terminated with quick disconnect couplers.
